Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our sales strategy by identifying new business opportunities, fostering leads, and laying the groundwork for successful sales engagements. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively articulate their unique value propositions.
- Lead engaging discovery sessions that highlight how our products and programs enhance efficiency and deliver cost savings.
- Mange the sales pipeline, from opportunity to close. Follow up on quotes and ensure timely closure of sales.
- Accurately record phone calls and meeting outcomes, ensuring our CRM reflects current information for effective opportunity management and reporting.
- Present updates at sales meetings. Regularly update the management team on the performance of the overall sales function as well as the status of discrete opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools e.g. HubSpot is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
