Genasys Monthly Update – July 2026

Message from Richard Danforth, CEO, Genasys
The 2026 fire year is off to a devastating start. So far, more than 37,000 fires have burned over 3.3 million acres in the U.S., 157% above the 10‑year average. The National Interagency Fire Center’s summer outlook shows significant fire potential across much of the West, as well as Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and southern Florida. With more than 40% of the country in drought as of late June, the need for Genasys Protective Communications solutions has never been greater and continues to grow.
Genasys Protect provides communication, situational awareness, and coordination capabilities that elevate emergency management and response during unpredictable, fast-moving wildfires. By reducing decision making and alerting times from hours to minutes through automatically generated, flexible zones, predictive simulation, and multi-channel notifications and orders, Genasys Protect increases safety for affected populations and first responders during wildfires and other all hazard incidents.
This month’s newsletter reflects how jurisdictions are incorporating Genasys Protect to better safeguard their communities, cities, and counties. As detailed in recent press releases, our LRAD and Acoustics pipelines continue to grow and convert to orders from new and existing customers.
