Accessibility Statement for Genasys Inc.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Genasys Inc. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We design our web pages to meet or exceed the Section 508 standards, which are the technical requirements that ensure we’re complying with federal Section 508 law. We also conform to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and their industry standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. We meet Level AA standards, which means our content is accessible to most people in most circumstances. We continually modify our websites to ensure the information, features and content are accessible to persons with disabilities.
Scope of Accessibility
This statement applies to:
- Genasys Protect Website
- Genasys Protect Mobile Applications (iOS and Android)
- CONNECT Website
- CONNECT Mobile Applications (iOS and Android)
- Related support and genasys.com marketing pages
- Exported PDFs, documentation, and training materials
Conformance Standards
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Genasys is conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA and partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AAA.
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Our digital experiences are evaluated using:
- Manual testing with assistive technologies performed by external accessibility experts
- Self-evaluation using automated accessibility tools (WAVE)
- Real-world user feedback
Current Status
You should be able to:
- zoom up to 200% without problems
- navigate using just a keyboard
- navigate using a modern screen reader and speech recognition software (on your computer or phone)
We have completed formal accessibility audits and maintain a current Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) for all major platforms. Some minor accessibility issues remain and are being addressed through ongoing remediation efforts, prioritized by user impact.
