Genasys Monthly Update – April 2026

Message from Richard Danforth, CEO, Genasys
Since our last newsletter, the Company’s Board of Directors was reconstituted, new Genasys Protect orders were announced, and we continue to make significant progress on the Puerto Rico Dams Early Warning System project and expanding our hardware and software business pipeline.
We welcome Bill Dodd as our new Chairman and the appointment of Larry Hagenbuch to the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee. Bill and Larry have many years of combined leadership, financial oversight, and operational experience and skills that are ideally suited to help us accelerate our strategic initiatives, scale company growth, and attain long-term, profitable growth.
Competitively bid Genasys Acoustics orders funded through a FEMA grant, with additional funds from the Sedona, Arizona City Council, will provide Sedona with an outdoor warning system that covers the city’s vital entertainment and tourist district.
New software orders in California and Idaho reflect the growing adoption of Genasys Protect to help keep residents and visitors informed during everyday incidents and safe throughout all hazard emergencies.
Genasys Protective Communications solutions provide multi-channel, zone-based public safety technology and services for emergency managers, first responders, and millions of residents and visitors throughout the U.S. As an increasingly recognized provider of vital public safety infrastructure, Genasys is well positioned for long-term growth and rising recurring revenue.
