Sharp HealthCare

Genasys donated to Sharp HealthCare in support of its COVID-19 response efforts. The gift will help provide critical resources, equipment and supplies as well as training and professional resources to support the direct care of all Sharp patients during this uniquely challenging time. Sharp HealthCare Heroes are working tirelessly to care for the San Diego community.

Feeding San Diego

Genasys teamed with ABC 10 and the Scripps Howard Foundation in a donation to Feeding San Diego, which provides more than 26 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, veterans, people facing homelessness, and other underserved populations. We distribute meals in partnership with 300 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries throughout the region.

The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation

The Company donated four LRAD 100X systems to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (“ETAF”) in July 2016 for use on its mobile health clinics in Malawi. The communication systems are being utilized to broadcast greetings, clinic services and health education information to rural villagers in the Mulanje and Phalombe districts.

“Through our implementing partner, the Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance (“GAIA”), our mobile health care clinics have provided life-sustaining health care to the 1 million residents in these districts for almost a decade,” stated ETAF Managing Director, Joel Goldman. “LRAD’s generous donation equips our mobile clinics with versatile public address systems to better reach the communities we serve in Malawi.” For more information about the LRAD 100X and its use by GAIA/ETAF, please click Humanitarian Communication.

Ride Across America

Retired Marine Sgt. Toran Gaal’s June – August 2015 Ride Across America benefited the Semper Fi Fund. Retired Sgt. Gaal lost both his legs, above his knee and hip, and suffered a brain injury in an IED explosion June 2011, in Afghanistan.

His continuing mission is to raise awareness and educate people on the lives of those who are wounded and injured while serving in the U.S. military. For more information, please click on Semper Fi Fund

Domestic Incidents

During and after events such as Hurricane Katrina, the landslides in Oso WA, and flooding in Boulder CO – the Company responded by lending LRAD systems to law enforcement and the National Guard to communicate rescue instructions to stranded survivors and to provide information on relief and humanitarian assistance to people on the ground.
