Richard S. Danforth
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Danforth has over 30 years of defense and aerospace industry experience including executive leadership positions with two of the world’s largest defense contractors, Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), and DRS Technologies Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leonardo-Finmeccanica (BIT: LDO).
Mr. Danforth joins LRAD Corporation after having served at DRS Technologies as Group President of DRS Integrated Defense Systems & Service (2013 – 2014); Chief Executive Officer, President and Board Member of DRS Defense Solutions (2008 – 2012); President, Command Control & Communication (2005 – 2008); President, Navy Electronics & Intelligence Systems (2004 – 2005); and Executive Vice President, Electronics Systems Group (2002 – 2004).
He began his career at Raytheon in 1982 and held various manufacturing, quality assurance and program manager positions until 1996. Mr. Danforth was then appointed Vice President of Operations for Raytheon Aircraft Company (1996 – 2000). In 2000, he was named Senior Vice President of Raytheon Aircraft Company’s Commercial Aircraft Business division, where he led 370 sales, marketing and customer service staff.
In 2014, Mr. Danforth formed the strategic business consulting firm, RsD Aero, Ltd., which provides consulting services for the Defense, Aerospace, Space and Transportation sectors, with an emphasis on M&A and Transatlantic trade. From 2007 – 2013, he was Chairman of the Board for Advanced Acoustic Concepts, a submarine and mine warfare software solutions company formed as a joint venture between DRS Technologies and the Thales Group.
Mr. Danforth has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Masters in Engineering Management from Western New England College.
Dennis D. Klahn
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Klahn has more than 30 years of accounting, finance and operations experience, which includes serving as Controller or CFO at several publicly traded companies. He was most recently a Group Controller at Teledyne RD Instruments, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies (NYSE: TDY). Prior to that role, he served as Controller or CFO at several companies including, ISE Corporation, Overland Storage, Anacomp, and International Lottery & Totalizator Systems. Mr. Klahn began his career as a Staff Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand after receiving his B.A. in Accounting from St. Ambrose University.

General John G. Coburn (Ret.), Chairman
General Coburn is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of VT Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of ST Engineering, a global defense contractor. VT Systems provides engineering solutions and services for the aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine sectors. Prior to joining VT Systems as their CEO and Chairman in November 2001, General Coburn served in the United States Army for 39 years in various logistics positions. His last assignment was commanding general of the United States Army Material Command (AMC). General Coburn is a distinguished military graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the infantry. General Coburn holds a B.A. in Education from Eastern Michigan University, a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas, a J.D. from the University of Missouri, and an honorary Ph.D. from Eastern Michigan University.
Laura M. Clague, Director
Ms. Clague has been a director since February 2007 and has over 30 years of financial experience. Ms. Clague has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Retrophin, Inc. since November 2014. From 2012 to October 2014, Ms. Clague served as Chief Financial Officer of the San Diego and Ohio operations of Amylin Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to the acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2012, Ms. Clague was the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Amylin for 10 years, and during this time also served as the CFO of the Amylin/Lilly Collaboration that was responsible for products with $500+ million in annual net reported revenue. From 1988 to 1999, Ms. Clague was the director of finance and accounting operations for Sony Electronics, Inc. From 1985 to 1988, Ms. Clague served as internal audit supervisor at Cubic Corporation. From 1982 to 1985, Ms. Clague held various audit positions at KPMG. Ms. Clague is a certified public accountant in the State of California, and has a B.S. in Business Administration from Menlo College. Ms. Clague’s qualifications to serve on the board include her significant experience as a financial executive in a publicly traded company, as well as her strong accounting and finance background resulting from her years in public accounting and industry.
Richard H. Osgood III, Director
Mr. Osgood retired in 2012 after serving as Head of Equity Capital Markets for Wedbush Securities since January 2009. Mr. Osgood joined Wedbush Securities when it acquired Pacific Growth Equities, which Mr. Osgood founded in 1991. Mr. Osgood served in various capacities with Pacific Growth Equities prior to its acquisition, including President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chairman and Executive Chairman. Prior to founding Pacific Growth Equities, Mr. Osgood was the Head of Capital Markets, Sales and Trading at Volpe, Welty and Company, a company he co-founded in 1986. Previously, Mr. Osgood held senior positions in institutional sales at Montgomery Securities, Rotan Mosely and Smith Barney. Mr. Osgood holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Biology from the University of the South.
Scott L. Anchin, Director
Scott L. Anchin is a restructuring professional with more than 19 years of leadership experience spanning a variety of industries. Until recently, Mr. Anchin worked for Alvarez & Marsal North America, LLC (“A&M”), a global professional services firm specializing in turnaround and interim management and performance improvement. Mr. Anchin started his career in public accounting with Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, where he audited financial statements for manufacturing, real estate, retail and consumer products companies. Mr. Anchin has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with a concentration in Management from Columbia Business School. He is also a non-active Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Daniel H. McCollum , Director
Daniel H. McCollum has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker and institutional investor. Mr. McCollum has served as Deputy Head of Investments at Hirtle Callaghan & Co. since January 2018. Previously, Mr. McCollum was Managing Director in the Investment Office of Brown University from July 2013 to January 2018 and Managing Director of Narragansett Asset Management LP from October 2008 to December 2012. Mr. McCollum holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School. Mr. McCollum’s qualifications to serve on the board include his experience in identifying, evaluating and managing financial and organizational risks and his experience with strategic investment analysis.
