SAN DIEGO, CA – December 11, 2018 – LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), a global leader in long-range voice broadcast systems, advanced mass notification and distributed recipient solutions, today announced a $1.1 million follow-on acoustic hailing device (“AHD”) order for the United States Air Force (“USAF”). The order includes LRAD 500X-RE systems, LRAD 100X MAG-HS Kits, and accessories.
“USAF security forces will utilize the LRAD systems and accessories for law enforcement, entry control points, and perimeter security at domestic and international Air Force bases,” remarked Richard S. In calendar 2018, we have announced more than $19 million of AHD and mass notification orders for U.S. government and defense organizations.”
