Unlike conventional loudspeakers, bullhorns and outdoor P.A. systems that disperse sound in all directions and have limited loudness and poor vocal quality, LRAD’s proprietary driver and waveguide technology focuses sound in a 30° beam while substantially reducing sound levels behind the long-range communication systems and in surrounding areas.

LRAD 100X
The LRAD 100X is the lightest, loudest, most intelligible acoustic hailing device (AHD) available. This lightweight, portable communication system can be temporarily or permanently mounted.
With a broadcast range up to 600 meters, the LRAD 100X is rugged, water resistant and is equipped with an all-weather microphone for live announcements and a hardened LRAD control unit to record and playback warning tones and voice messages at the push of a button.
A prominently positioned volume knob on the LRAD control unit quickly modulates loudness and broadcast distance.

LRAD 450XL

LRAD 500X-MMT
The LRAD-500X MMT is an advanced air-to-ground communication system that is self-powered and completely autonomous from other aircraft systems. The LRAD 500X MMT broadcasts highly intelligible voice messages and attention-commanding alert tones out to 2,000 meters over wind, engine and rotor wash. Classified as a payload by the FAA, the LRAD 500X MMT easily mounts to the cabin floor of a wide range of helicopters using cargo tie-down quick disconnect fittings.
